Home About Us What We Do Benefits FAQ Contact Us

  1. How does it work?

An initial appointment usually takes an hour.  Lifestyle choices, clothing inventory, and preferences are discussed, measurements and pictures are taken, fabric selections are made, and styling the new garments is finalized.

  2. Where do we meet?

At the home or office, or at the company's San Francisco office.

  3. How long does it take to get the clothing?

Delivery is 5 to 6 weeks.  If any minor alterations are needed, that is completed in 2 to 3 days.

  4. Can orders be rushed?

Yes, under certain conditions garments can be expedited.

  5. Are the custom clothes more expensive than ready-to-wear?

The cost of our custom clothing is very competitive with fine luxury clothing from high quality retail establishments.

  6. Where are the garments made?

All tailored clothing (i.e. suits, sportcoats, slacks, skirts, topcoats) are made in the US and Canada.  Shirts are generally made in the US, but certain fabrics require exclusive production in Hong Kong.

  7. What kinds of fabrics do you use?

Over 1000 different shirt fabrics are available in a multitude of patterns, colors, weaves, and thread counts from 80 to 170.  Tailored clothing uses Super 100's to Super 160's wool cloth in plain weave, twill, gabardine, and high twist in every possible color or pattern.  Also, unique cotton, velvet, corduroy, cashmere, and new technology blends can be considered.

  8. What if alterations are necessary?

Alterations on new garments are done in San Francisco, and are usually completed in 2 - 3 days

  9. Does the entire process take as long each time a purchase is made?

No, once the client pattern is established, only fabric selection and styling considerations are necessary, as all prior purchases and patterns are stored.  In fact, some clients do not even schedule appointments, but order products by phone or email, knowing the results will be consistent every time.

  10. Can you copy a style or fit of a garment I like, but can no longer find?

Yes, but there are applicable costs and time constraints to our normal process.
